The Walla Walla VA has now transitioned to its third phase of their COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness Plan. Following are the most recent updates at all of its sites of care.

IMPORTANT UPDATE (as of May 12):  Only visitors without symptoms will be permitted to enter the VA health care facilities as dictated by the current situation. No visitors under the age of 18 are permitted, including infants, unless under exceptional circumstances. The age restriction does not apply to recognized surrogates. No visitors will be allowed to wait in common areas (canteen areas, waiting rooms, vending areas, etc.). Note that effective May 7, you must wear a face mask when coming onto all of Walla Walla VA sites of care. This policy exists across the VA system, and has been put into place for the health and safety of all. These restrictions apply to all care locations, including health care facilities, ambulatory care centers, urgent care centers, and emergency rooms.

  • Upon entrance, all Veterans and visitors will BEAR RIGHT at the checkpoint, proceed up the hill, and initially screened in their cars at the drive-through area of Bldg. 145. Any identified secondary screenings will be performed at the drive-through area of Bldg. 143. Once cleared, Veterans will receive a pass to enter appropriate clinical building(s) for appointment(s).

Use My HealtheVet to order prescription refills, review labs/other important health information, and also to communicate with your provider team for non-emergent health needs. Also, a new app, Rx Refill, is available to refill refillable prescriptions.
