April 5, 2021

The Walla Walla VA continues to vaccinate Walla Walla VA health care eligible Veterans at all clinic locations. Veterans who have not yet been vaccinated can call the Walla Walla VA to schedule an appointment now at 509.525.5200 (dial "2" and "2").

As stated in SAVE LIVES Act, the Walla Walla VA is now registering and vaccinating eligible groups identified in the new legislation for COVID-19 at one of our clinic sites:

  • Veterans who have served in the US Military
  • Spouses of Veterans
  • Caregivers of Veterans
  • Eligible CHAMPVA recipients

For those interested, please sign up at VA's COVID-19 Vaccine site at their "Stay Informed" page. Your information will help us plan upcoming vaccine clinics. If you do not have or use a computer, call the Walla Walla VA at 509.525.5200, ext. 26952 and ask for assistance in getting registered.

Vaccine appointments now available for all eligible:

Are you registered? You may call now 509.525.5200, dial "2" and the "2", and schedule an appointment at an available location and time at any one of our clinics - note days and time will vary depending on the locations. The Walla Walla VA has received additional vaccine supply for this purpose; however, your employer, pharmacy, health care provider’s office, or local public health officials may be able to offer you a COVID-19 vaccine sooner. You are encouraged to take the first opportunity available to get a vaccine at the most convenient location for you.

The Walla Walla VA is administering both the Moderna and Janssen vaccines at this time. Distribution of each of these vaccines varies depending on the availability and amount of vaccine on hand. If you wish to receive a specific vaccine, you will need to schedule yourself for a clinic (time and location) that is offering that vaccine. For your information, please review the EUA fact sheet for recipients and caregivers for Moderna and Janssen (click the 2 highlighted links).

Those presenting presenting to the Walla Walla VA (Walla Walla) campus for vaccine appoinments are to report to Bldg. 143 to check in for preliminary screening. Vaccinations are occurring either inside or in the parking lots at the outlying clinic locations. Due to space limitations and need for proper physical distancing, please come alone to your scheduled vaccine appointment. You may bring a caregiver with you if necessary (any other visitors must remain in the vehicle). Please be sure all wears an appropriate mask at all times.

You can STAY UPDATED on Walla Walla VA's current vaccination status at each of its clinic locations at our local Walla Walla VA's COVID-19 Vaccines page. Additional information can be found at the VA's national COVID-19 vaccines at VA page and at the CDC's COVID-19 page.
