Situation Update

All Walla Walla VA Medical Center facilities are currently offering limited services; routine and non-emergent care is currently being delivered virtually via VA Video Connect (VVC), telehealth, telephone care, or scheduled in the community where appropriate. A reminder you must have an appointment in order to access our sites of care. Note that effective May 7, you must wear a cloth mask when access all sites. This policy exists across the VA system, and has been put into place for the health and safety of all. 

If you have symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath, call us at 509.525.5200, then press option "2" and "2" to speak with yout primary care team before visiting this facility. For other concerns, you may be able to access VA care from home by phone or using VA virtual care options.

Walla Walla VA campus lobby hours for all clinical buildings will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Mon.-Fri.). Clinical buildings are temporarily secured; however, once you have been screened, you will be able to access the appropriate buildings for your scheduled appointments. Non-clinical buildings on the Walla Walla VA campus are also temporarily secured and access is restricted to Walla Walla VA employees only. Note that hours and screening locations may vary at Walla Walla VA's outlying clinic locations.

Only visitors without symptoms will be permitted to enter the any VA health care facility as dictated by the current situation. Note that no visitors under the age of 18 are permitted, including infants, unless under exceptional circumstances. The age restriction does not apply to recognized surrogates. No visitors will be allowed to wait in common areas (canteen areas, waiting rooms, vending areas, etc.). These restrictions apply to all care locations, including health care facilities, ambulatory care centers, urgent care centers, and emergency rooms.

Enhanced screenings are in place at all Walla Walla VA's sites of care to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff. Please allow yourself extra time to access to go through the appropriate screenings, park your vehicles, and get to your appointments. Be sure to follow all road revision and directional signs at all times for your safety.
